Courtney Cox has comforting words for anyone missing their partner during lockdown
Lockdown has really thrown a spanner into the works with regards to our relationships. For some - it's turbo-charged them - whilst for others, it's provided a slew of problems, from breaking up after lockdown, to having to endure an enforced 'long-distance' relationship due to government guidelines.
If you're in the latter category and haven't seen your partner since before lockdown began, Courtney Cox - who has been apart from boyfriend Johnny McDaid for 133 days - shared some words of comfort, that will hopefully strike a chord with anyone going through a similar situation.
The Friends star, who's been dating McDaid on-and-off since early 2014, posted a screenshot of the pair catching up over Zoom to Instagram on Friday (24th July), highlighting the struggles the couple have had to endure since the beginning of the pandemic - with the two not only not living together, but also currently residing on opposite sides of the Atlantic - with Cox living in LA, and Snow Patrol guitarist and piano player, McDaid, located in London.

With a time difference of eight hours between the two cities, the pair will evidently have had trouble coordinating their schedules to make the time to catch up on the video calling app, but as her honest words prove, they're committed making it work, no matter what.
Thank god for technology!
Captioning the photo: 'It’s been 133 days since we were last together. Covid sucks. Happy Birthday J. I loved our lunch/dinner. (LA/London time) Zoom date today. I miss you madly. #myone.'
Proving that even the rich and famous aren't exempt from their lives being thrown into chaos as a result of the pandemic.
Here's hoping for no second wave and that we can all be safely reunited with long-distance loved ones again soon!
