Considering how soon Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting married after their engagement, it’s likely they’ll be sharing their big day with hundreds of Brits.

Because unlike the royal couple, us normal British citizens have to book a venue years in advance, and grooms and brides-to-be have had no way of predicting that they’d be getting married on the same day as royalty.

Whether the idea of tying the knot at the same time as Markle and Prince Harry seems romantic or your worst nightmare, thanks to one jeweller, doing so could have an unexpected advantage.

And advantage in the form of £2,000 worth of jewellery.

To stop the royal duo from stealing one couples’ thunder on May 19, Beaverbrooks is offering to cover the cost of one couple’s wedding jewellery.

To be in with a chance of receiving it they simply need to prove that their nuptials are booked on the same day as Prince Harry and Markle’s: Saturday 19 May 2018 (but you knew that, didn’t you?)

The lucky couple will then be given £2,000 to spend on Beaverbrooks jewellery whether they use it to pick the wedding rings themselves or gifts for bridesmaids and best men.

To apply, you just need to fill out a form on the jeweller’s website, and if you’re the lucky winner, make sure you claim your prize by May 13.

Good luck.
