Could Maisie Williams Be Returning To The World Of 'Game Of Thrones' In A Spin-Off Series?
The majority of Maisie Williams' acting career and teenage years were spent on the set of HBO's Game Of Thrones as Arya Star, one of the show's most central characters. The 27-year-old actor appeared in every season and quickly became a fan favourite for her character's love for adventure and rejection of typical gender roles.
Now, thanks to a teaser from George R. R. Martin, the writer of the book series A Song Of Ice And Fire which inspired the Game Of Thrones TV programme, has hinted at the fact that the actor may return to the world of Westeros for a new project.

Via Martin's blog, he detailed the following: 'We also got together with Maisie Williams for pizza and pasta, and talked about... well, no, better not get into that, do not want to jinx it.'
The writer added: 'But it could be so fun.'
While Martin did not reveal much else, his comments seemed to allude to yet another potential Games Of Thrones spin-off show, starring Williams. Given that the last time we had heard of Arya, she had left Westeros in search of what could be found west of the continent, there's a lot of scope to build out a new story for the character.
If the project were to take flight, this would be the third spin-off show for GOT fans, following House Of The Dragon, which is set 100 years before Games Of Thrones, and the upcoming A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, which is set to be released in late 2025.
