Costa's new spring themed menu is here and full of Easter treats
You can always rely on Costa Coffee to have brilliant new menu releases. First it was the steak & mexicana cheese toastie in summer last year, then it was the Rolo chocolate caramel hot chocolate last month. And now? They've added a whole load of Easter-themed eats to their food menu, including the new chocolate muffin made with a KitKat Bunny. Yum!
Yesterday (2nd March) the chain announced some major new menu additions just in time for spring, and perfectly timed for those long afternoons lying in the park. Yes, we promise sunny days are coming.
One of the stand out items of the new spring menu for 2023 is the chocolate muffin made with a KitKat Bunny. It's essentially a yummy chocolate muffin with a KitKat flavoured filling, topped with a chocolate frosting and a cute KitKat Bunny.
And that's not all the Easter inspired treats they have prepared. The new iced bunny gingerbread biscuit is hopping into store, alongside a chocolate and orange cake, iced Easter egg shortcake biscuit, mini egg cookie, the chocolate cornflake nest, and the classic hot cross bun. Ok we're seriously excited for Easter now.
If you're more into your savoury snacks then Costa Coffee are bringing us all the New York vibes, with a new New York deli bagel, which is filled with succulent beef pastrami, gherkins and Emmental cheese, all finished with a mustard béchamel.
There's also a new focaccia sandwich which can be eaten hot or cold which is filled with British pulled ham hock and roasted mushrooms, with a creamy mascarpone, béchamel and cheddar cheese sauce.
Naomi Matthews, the commercial strategy & food innovation director at Costa Coffee, shared Costa's excitement for the new menu, saying: “With Spring on the horizon and longer days ahead of us, there is no better time to launch our new Spring menu, with a wide range of delicious sweet and savoury products available.
"Whether you are meeting up with friends and family, grabbing lunch-on-the-go or taking a moment to yourself in the afternoon, we have the perfect food pairing to enjoy with your favourite Costa coffee – making each and every moment a little better.”
The full menu is available in Costa Coffee stores now and we could not be more excited to try it.
