Coronation Street enthusiasts believe there’s a ‘predictable’ baby storyline on the horizon following a steamy affair between two characters.
In a gripping episode on Tuesday 18 June, Toyah Battersby and her brother-in-law Nick Tilsley ended up in bed together after bonding over the drama involving Toyah's sister Leanne Battersby.
Nick became increasingly frustrated with his wife Leanne's fixation on 'the institute' and her mentor Rowan Cunliffe, particularly after they started making threats towards Toyah.
Toyah has been determined to reveal Rowan and the Institute as fraudulent, while Leanne has been completely taken in, oblivious to the fact she's being conned. Rowan has shown his true colours by threatening Toyah, attempting to force her into signing an NDA to prevent her from pursuing him and his dodgy enterprise.

But putting the blackmail to one side, fans are buzzing with theories that there will be another twist set to reveal Nick and Toyah's secret liaison. Speculation is rife among viewers that Toyah might end up pregnant from her tryst with Nick.
