The deputy leader of the House of Commons has paid tribute to his “beautiful” daughter who died suddenly last week.

Lindsay Hoyle, MP for Chorley, shared a picture of his daughter Natalie, 28, on Twitter and said that his family will never be the same without her.

Miss Lewis-Hoyle’s mother Miriam, a Conservative councillor in Essex, appealed for anyone who had been in contact with her daughter on the night she died to get in touch with Essex Police.

Mrs Lewis said in a post on Facebook: “It is with unbearable sadness that I have to announce the sudden death of my beautiful, much adored daughter Natalie.

“If Natty contacted you by phone, text, messenger or any other means on Thursday evening, 14 December, between 20.00 and midnight, please let me know through this page or contact A/Insp Jon Loudon at Essex Police incident no. 158.”
