Colman Domingo Feels ‘Like a King’ in Custom Louis Vuitton Suit at Golden Globes 2024
Colman Domingo went classic for his arrival to the Golden Globe Awards 2024 in Los Angeles on Sunday, looking to Louis Vuitton for his custom suit with a Nehru collar.
He was styled by duo Wayman and Micah, and accessorized with an Omega watch and an oval-shaped ring that once belonged to Bayard Rustin.

Domingo was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role in the film “Rustin.” The film, which was released on Netflix on Nov. 3, tells the story of the queer civil rights leader who was the advisor to Martin Luther King Jr.
“I’m forever changed as an artist. I feel like all the lights are shining on me right now in this industry and they see me for what I’m doing,” Domingo told WWD on the red carpet regarding his role as the historic character in the film, later adding, “I feel like a king tonight. I feel like a winner.”
The actor also recently starred in the musical film “The Color Purple” alongside Fantasia Barrino, Danielle Brooks and Taraji P. Henson. To the film’s Los Angeles premiere in December, the actor went vibrant in a burgundy Louis Vuitton suit with a wrap jacket and an artistic tassel belt.
The 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrated the biggest achievements across film and television in 2023. It was produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by WWD parent company Penske Media Corp. Ahead of the ceremony, WWD hosted its first real-time red carpet digital show, co-hosted by Jeannie Mai, highlighting the looks from the red carpet arrivals.
