I'm A Celeb may not be on screen until Sunday (17 November), but filming has already kicked off, with stars such as GK Barry - real name Grace Keeling - and Coleen Rooney spotted beginning their jungle adventure on Thursday. Meeting one another in quite a terrifying way, a number of this year's celebs were seen arriving via parachute and landing on the beach.

Coleen, Grace, Melvin Odoom, Barry Mcguigan and Alan Halsall were all pictured waiting on the beach near Byron Bay while stars such as N-Dubz singer Tulisa, McFly's Danny Jones and Loose Women panellist Jayne Moore skydived down to them.

Opting for a khaki trouser and cropped jacket co-ord, Coleen scraped her brunette locks back into an up-do as she beamed alongside Grace, who donned a white plunging jumpsuit. Melvin joined the women in a burnt orange polo shirt co-ord, before Alan and Barry came along across the beach.

Up in the sky, Jayne's parachute was blown off course and she landed amongst the tourists at Byron Bay, while Tulisa appeared to have a smoother landing next to her celeb campmates - who appeared to give her a warm welcome.

While they can't be seen in the pictures, Oti Mabuse and Dean McCullough are also taking part in this year's series, with Maura Higgins and Rev. Richard Coles reportedly entering camp as late arrivals.

The celeb campmates will all be getting to know each other fairly quickly when they get to their jungle digs, sharing food, water, and a toilet in the Australian camp. However, some stars may already know one another, as there are a number of links between this year's campmates.

Panellist and journalist Jane is known for her work on Loose Women, while influencer Grace is also a regular on the show - making history as the youngest-ever panellist. Jane and Grace aren't the only celebs who share connections, as Oti Mabuse and Tulisa are also familiar faces on the Loose Women panel, having made several appearances. Dean McCullough and Melvin Odoom also work in the same building at BBC Radio 1.

They also present the 10:30am – 12:45 slot on the station, meaning they even overlap with Dean as their shows end and start. However, to keep their close working relationship under wraps, Dean is listed as a 'Radio 1 presenter' on his official I'm A Celeb bio, while Melvin is simply 'TV presenter and DJ'.
