Coleen Nolan's unexpected rant over health warning: 'Stop reminding me I'm closer to death'

Loose Women presenter Coleen Nolan took to Instagram to share her irritation at the health warnings she's received since turning 58 on 12 March.

In a tongue-in-cheek post on Instagram, Coleen explained: "I'm not always happy, sometimes I'm really, really down and I don't want to get out of my pajamas or I don't want to put makeup on or talk to anyone," before explaining she's been inundated with health warnings since her recent birthday. Watch the video below and see if you relate to Coleen's gripe.

At the end of her rant, Coleen added: "Stop reminding me that I'm closer to death, I feel young. There's still life in the old dog yet, and she's going to live it."

Coleen's attitude to living life to the full is one she shares with her sister, Linda Nolan, who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer, after the disease spread from her breast.

Linda is undergoing radiotherapy, and lives by the mantra that she is "living with cancer, not dying from it."

Coleen was understandably devastated by her sister's diagnosis, breaking down in tears on Loose Women.

Coleen was visibly upset as she spoke about Linda, telling her fellow panellists: "I'm so sick of [cancer]. It just attacks my family all the time, and I know a lot of people go through it but selfishly, you think of yourself. And I'm scared of crying because I don't think I'll stop."
