A mother has described the miraculous moment she woke up to discover she had given birth to her daughter after being clinically dead for 14 minutes. Natasha Sokunbi, 30, collapsed from cardiac arrest while 37 weeks pregnant on December 3, after experiencing chest pains. Doctors battled to save both her and her unborn baby, delivering 6lbs 7oz Beau via emergency caesarean section just minutes after Natasha collapsed. Despite being resuscitated for over 30 minutes, Natasha woke up in the critical care unit, unaware she had given birth to her daughter. Grateful for the quick actions of the medical team, Natasha, who now has an ICD heart-starter device fitted, continues to recover and care for her two children.
