Claire Sweeney beams on holiday with Ricky Hatton and his family in Mallorca
Claire Sweeney has given fans a glimpse into her life with boyfriend Ricky Hatton's family, sharing a sweet snap on Instagram of them enjoying a meal together in Mallorca.
The former Coronation Street actress and the ex-boxer have been going strong, and it seems their families are getting along just as well. Their sun-kissed Tenerife holiday came shortly after they made their first red carpet appearance together in Manchester.
In the photo, Claire, who is set to take a break from the cobbles, looks stunning in a one-shoulder metallic dress, accessorised with an array of gold jewellery. Ricky, on the other hand, opted for a more casual look, sporting a navy blue t-shirt, jeans, and tinted sunglasses.
This comes after Claire shared a heartfelt post earlier this month, expressing her pride for Ricky who has recently been inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.
She posted a video of Ricky discussing his achievement, captioning it: 'So proud of you darling, flying to USA to be inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame. What an honour, and so deserved @rickyhitmanhatton', followed by a series of red heart emojis.
Ricky and Claire his Dancing On Ice co-star, have been getting along famously since their stint on the show in January. They recently returned from a romantic getaway in Tenerife.
Claire exclusively told OK! that 'there's a spark' in her relationship with Ricky.
When The Sun asked him about their trip, Ricky replied: 'It was great! Claire is like me, I've met someone who I get on with like a house on fire.
"She is just like me. We spend our whole time laughing together. Claire is just like me - she's so down to earth. She would never turn a picture down with a fan and she's always got time for people. That's what I really like about her. We've just been having good fun."
Claire, who was partnered with professional skater Colin Grafton on the show, was the third celebrity to be eliminated, just two weeks after Ricky. But it wasn't all doom and gloom as Ricky had already started showing interest in her.
Ricky is thought to have been the one to make the first move with actress Claire, leading to them going on several dates. The boxing pro is said to be 'besotted' with his new love, and Claire's feelings are very much reciprocated, according to an insider.
