Cinnabon Has a New Collab Coming to Grocery Stores Now
It’s like your favorite cinnamon roll in less-sticky form.
In the world of collaborations, anything is possible. Pop-Tarts and Hershey have collaborated with Crocs; Skittles and French’s Mustard created Mustard Skittles; and McDonald’s partnered up with beauty brand Nails INC. to develop various McDonald’s-themed nail products. But for all the whacky collaborations in this industry, others make perfect, delicious sense.
Cinnabon is on a roll with fun collaborations right now, with a new Wendy’s Cinnabon Pull-Apart treat released on Feb. 26. Now, more news has dropped that the chain has another collaboration available at grocery stores.
Cinnabon Partners with Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop to Create New Kettle Corn
In a match made in snack heaven, Boom Chicka Pop has partnered with Cinnabon to create a new sweet popcorn snack. The new product is inspired by Cinnabon's famous cinnamon rolls, featuring Cinnabon Makara cinnamon, other warm spices, and a hint of vanilla. It also has a drizzle of cream cheese, adding a final sweet note to the sweet-and-salty kettle corn.
According to Lucy Brady, president of Grocery and Snacks at Conagra Brands (the parent company of Angie's Boom Chicka Pop), "People know and love the taste of Cinnabon cinnamon rolls... Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP is excited to partner with Cinnabon to bring its iconic flavor to the #1 kettle brand in ready-to-eat popcorn. It's a perfect snack for anyone craving something sweet, salty, and delicious."
Fans on social media are chiming in with their excitement. One commenter on the Boom Chicka Pop Instagram said, "OMG NO WAY!! I NEEEED TO TRY THIS," and another said, "Yessss I know I'm going to love it!"
The new flavor is rolling out now and is available to purchase at grocery stores, mass retail, and online, with a suggested price of $4.29 for a 4.5-ounce bag.
