Tennis pro Serena Williams is certainly used to her body being scrutinised. She’s been body-shamed on social media, and in the press, on numerous occasions – which is ridiculous because her body is nothing short of phenomenal. But this time, Serena, who’s currently heavily pregnant with her first child, took control of her image by ditching her clothes and baring all for the cover of Vanity Fair – like many mums-to-be before her.

Appearing on the magazine’s August issue cover, the 35-year-old star took the opportunity to show off (almost) every inch of her toned-to-perfection frame and revealed how she’s finding pregnancy in her accompanying interview.

But Serena certainly isn’t the only celebrity to have created a powerful photo featuring her pregnant body. Beyonce, Natalie Portman, Kourtney Kardashian and, who could forget, Demi Moore have all stripped off for magazine covers – and social media – while pregnant.
