Christopher Kane has collaborated with Crocs once again to create another limited edition collection that will undoubtedly divide the masses.

In an impressive show of determination (he won't stop until you like them), the designer's gone bolder - the jewels have been replaced with tiger print and ostrich feather pompoms. Available in four different shades - honey, avocado, ochre and black - the collection launches next month with prices starting at £64.99, which is probably the cheapest it gets for a pair of Christopher Kane shoes.

The brand first brought crocs to the catwalk last September - marbled embellished versions worn with midi-length skirts. Now, there will be many who remain sceptical about the prospect of donning a pair of plastic clogs, but Kane says actually they're ideal for warm weather.

"They are brilliant for summer, as they are so comfortable and cooling," he says. "That they look great is an added bonus. I've always been a fan of the iconic Crocs Clog. I like that they are perceived by some to be quite 'ugly' and not at all feminine or designed to flatter. They are designed for function, and that's what attracted me to them."

Naturally, the people at Crocs are delighted with the continued pairing, stating it "reinforces our belief that our iconic clog is incredibly relevant in today's style arena".

Hideous or intriguing? Amusingly man-repelling or just plain wrong? The proof will be in the sales figures.
