Christina Anstead Vacations With Her Two Older Kids Following Split From Ant Anstead

Over the weekend, newly separated Christina Anstead took her first vacation following her split from Ant Anstead. The HGTV star headed to Nashville, Tennessee, with Taylor Reese and Brayden James, her two older children with her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. Her youngest child, Hudson London, stayed home with his father, Ant Anstead.

Accompanying Christina and her kids was friend Cara Clark, who co-authored The Wellness Remodel with Christina. Clark brought along her four daughters for a rustic, ranch-style weekend.

Christina shared some snaps from the Tennessee trip to Instagram on Sunday. “Smooth As Tennessee Whiskey 🍁,” she wrote in the caption, referencing the popular Chris Stapleton song. The photos she shared showed her, Clark, and the kids horseback riding, meeting farm animals, making s’mores, and more.

While Christina escaped the West Coast for the weekend, Ant stayed home to care for Hudson. He shared an adorable video to Instagram of the one-year-old sticking his tongue out and smiling—the tot may have been fascinated by the selfie view on his dad’s phone. “What are you doing?” Ant asks with a laugh as he kisses his son.

This appears to be the second weekend in a row that Ant took care of Hudson. It’s unknown what type of co-parenting arrangements have been put into place between the exes. However, in response to a fan’s question on Instagram, Ant confirmed that he will be staying in the United States following his split from Christina. “Yes! California is my home. Lots of exciting plans to share x,” he wrote back to the fan.

While Ant has yet to reveal his exact reasoning for remaining in California, being close to Hudson definitely seems to be a huge factor in the decision. Ant is originally from the U.K., where his two older children, Amelie and Archie, currently live with his first ex-wife.
