Chrissy Teigen is currently pregnant, expecting baby number three with husband John Legend. As usual, the Cravings cookbook author is pretty open about her experience - the ups and the downs - and she recently shared that she's been getting Botox throughout this pregnancy.

Writing on Twitter, Chrissy explained: "I get really really bad pregnancy headaches. was thrilled to be cleared to do neck muscle botox along with a crazy combo of beta blocker shots and radio wave frequency something something doctor terms. Anyhow man it’s just so bad but I see the light finally."

Chrissy added in a further tweet that she had seen some relief after getting Botox in her jaw, which helped with the teeth grinding that had been making her headaches worse. "You can also do behind the brow for migraines. Life changing," the mum-of-two posted.

The NHS explains that suffering headaches during pregnancy is quite common, especially during early pregnancy. "[They] usually improve or stop completely during the last 6 months," reads the NHS website.

There's been very little research into whether undergoing Botox during pregnancy is safe, which means it's generally recommended that expectant mothers steer clear of it unless given specific authorisation by a doctor (like Chrissy did).

Alternative treatment methods recommended by the NHS for pregnancy headaches include paracetamol (not ibuprofen, unless prescribed by a doctor), drinking fluids, getting plenty of sleep, and generally resting.

34-year-old Chrissy Teigen previously revealed on Twitter that, after using IVF to have their first two children, Luna and Miles, baby number three was conceived naturally, and was a surprise. One follower wrote on the social media platform: "Omg. This baby wasn't planned? This is similar to those who have tried for years, only to adopt- and then find themselves pregnant."

Chrissy responded, saying: "Anyone who knows me knows I have taken a pregnancy test nearly every month since I was 21. I know it's weird. I just always, always wanted to see a positive. This was the time!"

It's not known when the baby is due, but we'll look forward to seeing the third little Legend when it arrives some time next year!
