Chris Tarrant paying for flat for Ukrainian refugee family he took in
Chris Tarrant has revealed he is paying for a flat for the Ukrainian refugees he took in.
The TV star opened his home in Berkshire to a woman in her 30s, her mother, and her baby girl earlier this year amid the crisis in Ukraine, telling fans at the time that they had been sleeping on the floor in airports in Poland before he gave them somewhere to live.
The father-of-four has previously said it worked out brilliantly and that it had been "absolutely delightful" having the family living with him and his partner Jane Bird for several months.

In a radio interview Tarrant said his own home was pretty "remote" and that he had now decided to pay for a city centre flat for them, reported the Mirror.
Speaking on Greatest Hits Radio, Tarrant said he wanted the family to be able to be closer to things like shops and baby classes.
"I’m paying for it all but it’s my pleasure just to do something," he said.
"Of course they want to go home but they live about 60 miles from the Russian border and the husband is fighting in the Donbas."
"It’s a very precarious situation still," added the former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host.
The Homes For Ukraine scheme allows UK residents who have a spare room to sponsor an individual or family from Ukraine to live with them.

After the scheme was launched, several celebrities said they would like to open their homes to refugees, including Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and TV presenter Gary Lineker.
