Chicago Firefighters Demonstrate The Fiery Dangers Of Frying A Frozen Turkey

Ahead of America's Thanksgiving holiday, firefighters in Chicago have videoed a graphic illustration of why you shouldn't deep fry a frozen turkey. Footage released by the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) shows the firefighters lowering a turkey into a fryer before flames erupt. “CFD wants everyone to have a safe Thanksgiving holiday. Improper use of turkey fryers or frying a frozen turkey can create a fire hazard,” firefighters said. These demonstrations have become something of a tradition among American fire services in recent year as they aim to avoid their countrymen and women doing dumb and dangerous things.
