Charlotte Crosby frightens fans as she posts from bed on strong medication saying 'I've never been so unwell in my life'
Former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby gave her fans a fright when she posted a worrying photo to social media and said she'd "never felt this ill in my life". The star blamed her migraines for the pain - saying she was experiencing fevers, swollen glands, and wasn't able to look at her phone due to the pain.
She appeared to be lying in a bed, with a tea towel around her forehead, possibly containing an ice or heat pack to help ease the pain. Taking to her Instagram account, she told her 8.7million followers: " "Never felt this ill in my life been in the drs and been put on strong medication! Fevers glands swollen right up and pussing. If I don't reply I will get back when I can. My migraines are so bad I can't go on my phone at all."
The NHS says the main pre-migraine symptoms include dizziness, difficulty speaking, blurred or flashing vision, and the migraine itself can last up to three days.
Earlier in the day, the 24-year-old reality star posted a series of gorgeous holiday snaps from Crete, Greece, but it's unclear whether she's still there with her fiancé Jake Ankers and their daughter Alba Jean or whether she's back at home
Charlotte, who stars in the BBC show Charlotte in Sunderland, recently revealed her and Jake were 'trying' for a little brother or sister for Alba, who was born in October 2022.
In April, while sharing her delight at become a second home-owner after signing on the dotted line for a holiday home in Spain, she posted a photo of herself with Jake, writing, "Special time just us two. Trying to make baby number 2" in the caption.
"Just a quick trip before our big one in a few days!," she said. "I've got to be in Spain to sign some forms for the villa tomorrow! It's the first time Jake's gunna see it! And I'm SOOOO EXCITED!!!
"We are going to see the progress and also pick the flooring and bathroom tiles! I'm absolutely buzzing to see how our plot is getting on! We've flown the day before so we can hire a car and boom about the area, check out the restaurants and shops near by."
The holiday pad is the latest big step for Charlotte and Jake - who got engaged in a surprise proposal in November last year, after going public with the relationship back in 2022.
After Jake got down on one knee during a romantic break to Dubai, Charlotte told fans she'd had "the best night ever" - and was now a wife-to-be.
"Happiest woman in the world," she said alongside an adorable photo of the moment Jake popped the question. "Yes yes yes and yes @jake_ankers you are my best friend you are my life i CANT BELIEVE IM ENGAGED AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh. Best night ever".
