Chanel's most spectacular Fashion Week catwalks in pictures
You don’t need to keep up with the seasons or understand the who’s who of the FROW to appreciate a Chanel runway, as Karl Lagerfeld is famous for putting on a show.
For SS16, the French fashion house transformed the Grand Palais into the world’s chicest airport as models checked in clutching quilted suitcases and faux passports.
Fast forward to AW18 and show attendees found themselves in the woods, as wrapped-up models looked autumn-ready, as they crunched through a leaf-laden runway.
This season was of course no exception.
For SS19, the Paris landmark was unrecognisable as picture-perfect lifeguards took to their posts against the shore. Straw hat-clad models sauntered past – their bare feet treading through the sand. Two words: Instagram central.
From a botanical garden made entirely from paper to a quintessentially English garden, feast your eyes on some of the most spectacular Chanel Fashion Week catwalks to date.
