Did you prefer Brad Pitt clean-saved? Are you a fan of George Clooney's beard? Were you devastated when Jason Momoa shaved his facial hair? There's a long list of celebrities who've sported a variety of beard styles, from clean and close shaves to moustaches and full beards.

Some stars swap up their looks for acting roles or to suit their evolving styles during different eras. Prince William, unlike his younger brother Harry, however, had always remained clean shaven, but begun sporting a full beard for the first time earlier this year. From Tom Hardy and David Beckham to Idris Elba and Ryan Reynolds, there are plenty of celebs who have transformed their look through a range of beard styles.
