A Strictly Come Dancing pro, EastEnders icons and TV royalty are among the stars announced to take on Celebrity Masterchef - but how will they fare when the heat is on? 

Johannes Radebe, Michelle Collins, Su Pollard and Katie Price are just some of the celebrities enlisted for this year's series. There are a whopping 20 contestants this year taking part in the BBC One show, but who will impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace? Being a celebrity in the kitchen doesn't get any tougher than this.

Here's all the famous faces stepping up to the plate in this year's Celebrity Masterchef, which will air later this year.

Johannes Radebe

Who is he? He's a Strictly Come Dancing pro and icon, that's who. South African Johannes was paired with Caroline Quentin on last year's show, coming eighth overall.

Joe Swash

Who is he? Former EastEnders star, Mr Stacey Solomon, King of the Jungle on I'm A Celeb (2008), Dancing on Ice champ (2020) and all-round nice chap.

Michelle Collins

Who is she? Just one of the most iconic soap characters of all time, that's who. Michelle played Cindy Beale in EastEnders for ten years, before channel hopping over to Corrie in 2011.

Rita Simons

Who is she? Rita played Roxy Mitchell from EastEnders from 2007 to 2017, and is an all round legend.

Melanie Sykes

Who is she? Presenter Mel is a former model, and among her long career has hosted things like Today with Des and Mel (with the late Des O'Connor) and The Great Pottery Throw Down.

Penny Lancaster

Who is she? Model, photographer, and wife of Sir Rod Stewart. Does a turn or two on Loose Women.

Duncan James

Who is he? He's a member of boyband Blue, and an actor - he was in Hollyoaks for two years.

Su Pollard

Who is she? Su is the icon we truly don't deserve. Actress, singer, writer, legend, is there anything she can't do? Su is best known for her role in 80s sitcom Hi-de-Hi!. She's 71 in real life! Who knew?

Kadeena Cox

Who is she? Prolific British parasport athlete Kadeena is a world title holder - winning sprinting (T37 100m) and cycling events (C4 500m) in athletics and para-cycling championships.

Nabil Abdulrashid

Who is he? Britain's Got Talent finalist Nabil holds the record of the youngest black comedian to perform stand up at the Hammersmith Apollo - which he got in 2010, aged 25.

Who is he? Comedian Munya has been a constant source of joy during lockdown on his social media (@munyachawawa) - providing quick witted commentaries and parodies. He's going to be a hoot.
