Angelina Jolie and youngest children join Thandie Newton and lookalike daughter at 'Dumbo' premiere
The ‘Dumbo’ premiere at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles last night was a family affair.
Angelina Jolie, Thandie Newton and Dame Helen Mirren were among the A-listers who graced the red carpet with family members in tow.
Angelina Jolie attended along with her four youngest children: Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox.
The actress’ eldest sons, 17-year-old Maddox and 15-year-old Pax who she also co-parents with former husband Brad Pitt, skipped the starry evening.

For the event, Jolie chose a Grecian-inspired Atelier Versace gown which featured a sheer overlay and scooped back – the perfect way to show off her extensive skin art.
The Pitt-Jolies weren’t the only celebrity family to grace the red carpet.
British star Thandie Newton was joined by her 14-year-old daughter, Nico Parker, whom she shares with her film writer husband Ol Parker. And show business sure runs in the family, as Nico makes her acting debut in the Disney remake.
To celebrate the milestone, the mother-daughter duo wore matching high fashion, velvet ensembles.
Newton chose a cold-shoulder crushed velvet dress by Oscar de la Renta while Parker chose an emerald-hued Gucci number clinched in at the waist by a millennial pink bow – very SS19.

Meanwhile, Helen Mirren‘s grandson Waylon Hackford, stole the spotlight in an on-theme top hat and ringmaster ensemble.
As for the actress, Mirren wore a dove grey midi dress with co-ordinating ankle boots and a lace cropped jacket.
Directed by Tim Burton, the film also stars Eva Green and Colin Farrell who demonstrated their sartorial know-how last night.
Former Bond girl Eva Green chose an optical illusion dress by Iris van Herpen finished with a hot red lip, Jimmy Choo shoes and wispy bun.
While co-star Colin Farrell eschewed tradition in a tweed blazer and polished Chelsea boots.
‘Dumbo’ is tipped for UK release on March 29.
