Celeb Bake Off confirms Prue Leith replacement in judging shake-up
Channel 4 has shared first-look images at this year's The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer, confirming who will replace Prue Leith on the judging panel.
Last March, the judge announced that she would step down from the show's celebrity edition but would continue to appear on The Great British Bake Off.
The broadcaster has now revealed Prue's replacement as her longstanding friend Caroline Waldegrave OBE, the former co-owner and managing director of Leiths School of Food & Wine.
Caroline appears alongside returning judge Paul Hollywood – plus presenters Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding – in a new photo, teasing the show's return this spring.
Caroline isn't the only new face in the tent, with the 2025 celebrity contestants unveiled in a new group shot.
Hoping to impress with their baking skills in the tent are TV presenters Kate Garraway, Roman Kemp, Sarah Beeny and Gloria Hunniford, plus presenting duo and property experts Scarlette and Stuart Douglas.
Pop star Self Esteem (aka Rebecca Lucy Taylor) and Chicken Shop Date's Amelia Dimoldenberg will also compete for the Star Baker award, in addition to comedians Adam Buxton, Phil Wang, Sophie Willan, Jamali Maddix and Tommy Tiernan.
Completing the line-up are model, author and change maker Ellie Goldstein, podcasters Chris and Rosie Ramsey, plus actors Meera Syal (The Kumars), Jim Howick (Ghosts), Maxine Peake (Anne) and Gbemisola Ikumelo (Famalam and Black Ops).
Four celebrities will battle it out in each new episode, tackling a signature, technical and showstopper round judged by Caroline and Paul, who will then decide and crown the Star Baker.
As usual, Bake Off hosts Alison and Noel will also be on hand to encourage, support and console the celebrity bakers in the tent.
The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer returns to Channel 4 this spring.
