Catherine Zeta-Jones has launched her first ever shoe collection.
The 50-year-old actor has joined forces with British footwear brand Butterfly Twists to launch a 10-piece footwear range in collaboration with her own lifestyle brand Casa Zeta-Jones.
The star was inspired to release the collection because she “loves” shoes.
Speaking about her latest venture, the mother-of-two said: “I love shoes, and like most women I know comfort and style are essential. I’m looking forward to my partnership with Butterfly Twists, and expanding the brand of Casa Zeta-Jones from head to toe, literally!
“I’ve always had a passion for fashion. I learned to sew from my Nana and my Mam and was always designing and creating something new. Shoes are a natural extension of that, and something I’ve always wanted to design.”
“I love their brand and knew I could collaborate with them on something really fresh and different. They are global, virtually in every country and that was also important to me so Casa Zeta-Jones could have a far and expansive reach to women everywhere.”
The Casa Zeta-Jones x Butterfly Twists capsule has been handmade from vegan leather.
The design boasts a flexible sole, which makes for extra comfort especially when wearing a flat shoe.
The collection has a variety of colourways, from vibrant patterns to classic ballerina flats.
They retail for £55 and £60, depending on the design, and are available in shoe sizes 2 to 9.
