Cate Blanchett makes rare red carpet appearance with her son Dashiell
Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett was seen walking the red carpet arm in arm with her rarely seen eldest son Dashiell John Upton at the The Albie Awards last night (26 September).
Both looking very stylish in matching monochrome looks, her 22-year old son Dashiell was seen looking smart in a black suit, wearing a double breasted blazer and matching suit trousers for the special occasion.
Nailing her red carpet looks recently, Cate steered her away from her recent architectural dresses and effortless tailoring, and differently wore an all-black, glitzy look for the event.
Wearing chic leather trousers teamed with a black asymmetric sequin top, the star's blouse also featured 90s style shoulder pads and a trendy one-shoulder cape.
Rubbing shoulders with some of Hollywood biggest actors, Cate was also seen having a giggle with close pal George Clooney on the red carpet.
Keeping her family life very quiet over the years, Cate has been married to her husband Andrew Upton for over 25 years, and they share four children together: Dashiell, 22, Roman, 20, and Ignatius, 16 and their youngest daughter Edith, who is nine years old.
Dashiell, nicknamed Dash, graduated from film school in 2022 and was reported to have worked on The Fall Guy, alongside Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling, in the cinematography department as an assistant.
Taking it back to when he was first born, Dash was the Australian actress' first baby with her husband Andrew Upton, after meeting in the 1990s working on a theatre production together in Australia.
