Cate Blanchett looks phenomenal in dramatic blazer at awards ceremony
Cate Blanchett looked phenomenal in a statement blazer while attending the London Critics' Circle Film Awards on Sunday, 5 February.
The 53-year old actress opted for a dramatic suit, composed of a blazer with metallic sleeves and black trousers. The blazer, by design house Alexander McQueen, is the statement piece of the outfit, boasting incredible, voluminous sleeves in a sapphire blue colour.
The rest of Cate's outfit took advantage of chic tailoring. The star's blazer has a feminine, plunge neckline while the trousers offer a fit-and-flare shape to make for a flattering silhouette. Cate paired her suit with black, pointed heels and subtle stud earrings.
For her beauty look, the actress wore her signature, short blonde hair in an on-trend side parting with plenty of wavy texture. Her makeup consisted of a smoky eye and pink lip for a classic yet slightly dramatic look; perfect for complementing her outfit.
At the London Critics' Circle Film Awards, Cate took home the "Best Actress" award for her starring role in Tár. In a particularly star-studded moment, she posed alongside actresses Florence Pugh and Michelle Yeoh; who also won awards at the ceremony. Florence was the very picture of red carpet glamour in a satin red gown, while Michelle looked chic in a sleek, tie-waist black gown.
In addition to taking home the award for Best Actress at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards, Cate is also nominated for Best Actress at the 95th Academy Awards for her role in Tár.
