Cast your vote for this year's National Park Protector Awards
There’s still time to cast your vote for the People’s Choice category at the National Park Protector Awards.
From large-scale projects helping nature to grassroots groups supporting local communities, the nominees are individuals who are going above and beyond for the UK’s 15 National Parks.
The annual National Park Protector Awards – which have been running since 2011 by independent charity Campaign for National Parks (CPN) – aim to recognise and reward the efforts of those who are at the heart of the UK’s National Parks.
And this year Country Living is thrilled to have joined forces with CPN as media partner for the event.
Winners of the three categories at the awards – the Marsh National Park Nature Award, the New Perspectives Award and the Young Changemaker of the Year Award – are decided by a panel of judges and revealed at the ceremony at the House of Lords on Wednesday 11th December. But the People’s Choice is in the hands of the public, who have until Sunday 8th December to cast their vote – with the winner announced on Thursday 12th December.
From rewilding projects and hiking groups to conservation volunteers and community litter pickers, the nominees this year are dedicated to protecting and enhancing the UK’s national parks for future generations.
