After the shocking accident that left her with 40-plus stitches in her face, Underwood bears her visage for one of the first times since her fall in her emotional new “Cry Pretty” music video. Spoiler alert: She looks glamorous AF.
The American Idol alum gives off all the Britney Spears “Lucky” vibes, illustrating the lonely side of fame in a slew of sequined outfits we’re dying to rock.
Despite releasing a statement last month that she might look different in the wake of her fall, Underwood’s face looks as beautiful as ever in the video’s various close-ups. You’d never know the Grammy winner took a tumble that made her worry her son might find her scary.
One thing’s for sure: Our crying face and raccoon eyes look nowhere near as pretty as Carrie’s, and we’re only a little bit peeved.
