Carrie and Boris Johnson's daughter Romy, 3, looks adorable in pink outfit on sports day
Carrie Johnson's daughter Romy is growing up fast, and the proud mum couldn't resist sharing a new snap of her little one with her followers. The adorable photo captures three year old Romy in a bright pink knitted cardigan featuring a cute black Scottish terrier design, teamed with pink polka dot leggings.
Her honey-blonde hair is styled in a playful ponytail, held together by a lilac scrunchie. Carrie excitedly captioned the image: "Sports day winner! ! !" as Romy triumphantly raises her arm.
Carrie already shares Wilfred and daughter Romy with husband Boris, while the former prime minister has five other children. The announcement of Carrie's third pregnancy was made in May 2023, as she captioned an Instagram post: “New team member arriving in just a few weeks. I’ve felt pretty exhausted for much of the last eight months but we can’t wait to meet this little one.
Carrie, 34, gave birth to the pair’s second child, Romy, in December 2021.
The couple enjoy a picturesque family life in the countryside. Their home in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, Oxfordshire, is a stunning grade II-listed property worth £3.8 million, boasting an expansive garden where the kids are often seen frolicking. This impressive outdoor space includes a walled garden, tennis courts, a moated castle, and even a duck pond.
The Johnsons recently made the most of their beautiful grounds by throwing a garden party, which seemed to coincide with Boris' 60th birthday celebrations. While details of the event remain under wraps, Carrie was spotted looking effortlessly chic in a summer dress amidst a garden set for what looked like a festive occasion.
Romy was also pictured sitting amongst a circle of hay bales with a fire pit in the centre.
Boris' birthday gift was three enormous elephant statues, a donation to The Great Elephant Migration. This charity "amplifies indigenous knowledge & inspires the human race, to share space," according to its official website.
Carrie shared a photo of the new garden features being delivered and captioned it: "A very special 60th birthday present, supporting a wonderful charity."
The caption accompanied a photo of Wilfred, completely engrossed by the statues. Carrie also recently shared pictures of her, husband Boris and their children enjoying the beach while on holiday in Sardinia.
The snaps posted on Instagram show Mrs Johnson and the former Prime Minister enjoying a summer getaway with their three young children.
She said in a post sharing the photos: “Beautiful Sardinia. Pasta, ice cream, beach. Repeat."
