Carole Middleton has once again drawn from her daughter the Duchess of Cambridge's wardrobe for some style inspiration. Carole wore a stunning blue topaz necklace from one of Kate's favourite jewellery brands, Kiki McDonough, to the third day of Wimbledon (Wednesday 29 June).

In fact, it's a necklace Kate herself has worn on several occasions.

The Duchess can be seen wearing the brand's white gold Eden Blue Topaz and Diamond Flower Necklace to meet German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Buedenbender during a visit to Germany in July of 2017.

Whether it's the same piece borrowed from the Duchess' jewelry collection, or is a piece owned by each of the ladies, Carole has shown how beautifully the necklace works with a more casual look.

Carole wore the £1500 necklace with a £90 Hobbs denim jacket and a £150 Boden jumpsuit (both sold out), while enjoying the Championships with husband Micheal Middleton.

It's not the first time this month that Carole has taken some style inspiration from her daughter. She wore a a pink ME+EM shirt dress for the first day of Royal Ascot on 14 June, that the Duchess of Cambridge also owns one of, and wore for a very important occasion last year.

The Duchess chose the pink dress to keep a promise to a five-year-old named Mila as part of her Hold Still photography competition, after her image was selected as one of the 100 finalists. You can read the full story here.
