The bigger the ball gown, the better at Cannes Film Festival 2017

From Rihanna to Nicole Kidman, it seems like every A-lister on the planet is at Cannes Film Festival this month. But while it’s lovely to look at the safe, slinky, stylist-approved dresses that Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski have been spotted wearing, what we really want to peruse are the princess-esque ballgowns that everyone from Nicole to Elisabeth Moss are sporting.

Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hit headlines in a fairytale, Cinderella-inspired Michael Cinco number. Pregnant actress Araya Hargate gave Aishwarya a run for her money in a hot pink, frothy Zuhair Murad number that resembled a vintage doll toilet roll cover. And Canadian model Winnie Harlow slayed the red carpet in, another, Zuhair Murad dress, which we’ll be lusting after until the day we die.
