Canada Dry Has a Brand-New Ginger Ale Coming to Stores
This first-of-its-kind flavor is joining the permanent lineup.
When a soda brand we know releases a new flavor, we always get a little excited. As much as we love classic flavors, we’re always down to try something new. While new flavors can sometimes be mysterious or surprising, others just make sense right away, as is the case with Canada Dry’s newest flavor being added to the lineup.
Canada Dry Adds a New Ginger Ale to Its Permanent Lineup
The next time you find yourself craving a ginger ale, you’ll be able to choose between the classic zippy flavor as well as a new version with a fruity twist. Today, the brand announced that it’s releasing Canada Dry Fruit Splash.
The new soda is a cherry-flavored ginger ale, and it’s made with a splash of real fruit juice. Given that many of our favorite fruit punches are made with ginger ale and fruit juice, this new flavor is already a winner in our book. It comes in Regular and Zero Sugar versions.
The new soda is available nationwide from Target, Amazon, and Walmart, among others, in a 12-ounce, 12-pack format ($7.99), and a 20-ounce bottle format (which will be available through May 1). After May 1, the flavor won’t be disappearing entirely, unlike many of the new sodas from other brands that tend to stick around for a limited time only. The 20-ounce bottle won’t be available nationally after the beginning of May, but it will be available on a regional basis. And the 12-ounce can format is here to stay—Canada Dry added this flavor to its permanent lineup.
Canada Dry also sells Cranberry Ginger Ale, Blackberry Ginger Ale, and Ginger Ale and Lemonade and Ginger Ale and Orangeade flavors. Here’s hoping we get even more fruity, gingery flavors to try in the future!
