Calista Flockhart Walked the Emmys Carpet Sans Husband Harrison Ford
At last night's Emmy Awards, Calista Flockhart walked the silver carpet solo, without her husband Harrison Ford; Ford later joined her in the audience. For the ceremony, Flockhart wore a Giorgio Armani Privé outfit from their Spring 2023 couture collection.
Flockhart was not nominated tonight, but was taking part in an Ally McBeal reunion and presenting the Best Drama Actor category alongside Greg Germann, Peter MacNicol and Gil Bellows.
A few years ago, Flockhart reflected on Ally McBeal, saying, "Everyone hopes the show is going to be successful and find an audience and you’ll have a job longer than two episodes. I was focusing on just trying to figure it out. It was challenging." She added, "I don’t remember being focused on if it was going to be a hit. I just remember getting up early and working hard. I remember Gil said there was this magical period when we weren’t on the air yet and we were working because we were enjoying it and nobody was watching it. That was a blissful period of time."
She took a long break from television, but she returns to the small screen soon—she's set to star in Feud: Capote vs. the Swans as Lee Radziwill. (The show premieres January 31!)
On Saturday, at the Critics Choice Awards, Flockhart and Harrison Ford attended together, and she wore a floral Erdem gown. During the night, Ford received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and the couple looked so in love:
During his Critics Choice Award speech, Ford thanked her, saying, "I want to thank my lovely wife, Calista Flockhart, who supports me when I need a lot of support. And I need a lot of support."
