A popular Cadbury product has been discontinued ahead of Christmas, leaving chocolate fans devastated. The company's popular Dairy Milk Daim Little Robins have been axed from shelves, despite being a firm favourite with shoppers. The treats came in 77g bags with individually wrapped solid milk chocolate eggs, featuring crunch almond and caramel Daim pieces.

The Daim Little Robins had been branded "perfect stocking fillers" and "ideal for sharing" in the past by chocolate lovers. Cadbury released the product back in 2019, alongside Dairy Milk Orange Snowman and Winter Gingerbread bar. However, it's been announced by the company that the Daim Little Robins have been axed from shops in a bid to make room for more flavours.

Shoppers had taken to social media to ask if Cadbury would be releasing the product again this Christmas, but were met with disappointed. Taking to X, one person said: "It's now November 23 and it doesn't look like Cadbury are doing the wee daim robins this year. Sorry to say, but it looks like Christmas is cancelled."

"I am literally searching the net on this because I can't find them anywhere. I have found on a few random social media pages that they have been discontinued but I can find anything official by Cadbury," another desperately added.

A spokesperson for Mondelēz International told The Sun: "We’re always adapting our Christmas range to make sure that it reflects changing consumer tastebuds, and there is a range of options available to enjoy. In line with this, the Cadbury Dairy Milk Daim Little Robins Bag (77g) is no longer available, but we have plenty of other delicious options for consumers to choose from in our 2024 festive line-up, including the Cadbury Dairy Milk Robins (77g) as well as our beloved Christmas classics and some exciting new festive treats."

Cadbury's standard Dairy Milk Robins, which do not contain Daim, are still available to buy from major supermarkets, including Tesco, Asda and Morrisons. The product tends to be priced between £1.50 and £1.60 dependent on the retailer.

There's plenty of other Cadburys products which have also unfortunately left shelves this Christmas. Dairy Milk Winter Orange Crisp has been discontinued, as well as The Dairy Milk Snowman and Festive Friends.

Dairy Milk Orange was also axed earlier this year, despite having proven popular with chocolate lovers. In addition, Dairy Milk Marvellous Mix-ups with Oreo were also removed from shelves in 2024.
