Actress Chloë Grace Moretz, has publicly identified as a "gay woman" for the first time. While also voicing her support for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, the Kick-Ass star has shared her political stance, advocating for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ protections, issues she feels are at risk in the current political climate.
The 27 year old movie star took to Instagram to share an image of a voting sticker marked "I voted early 2024" and detailed why she believes Harris is the best candidate to champion the rights of women and the LGBTQ+ community.
Chloë said, in a passionate update: “I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris. There is so much on the line this election." The star continued: “I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor. Kamala Harris will protect that for us.”

Chloë continued to open up about her deeply personal connection to the issues at hand, speaking openly about her sexuality, and describing herself as a "gay woman." Chloë shared: "I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman. We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve."

She stressed the need for legal protections for the LGBTQ+ community in the US, adding: “We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve.” This marks the first time the actress has publicly labeled her sexuality, a personal revelation that many of her fans have celebrated.
She ended the post urging her followers to go out and vote, saying: “SO… Are you voting early? Let’s get a plan together to get to your polling place with your friends!”
While the star has kept her private life mostly out of the spotlight, she has been linked romantically to model Kate Harrison since 2018. The pair were first spotted together at Nobu in California, where they were seen sharing a sweet kiss. Over the years, they’ve continued to appear together, often sparking curiosity among fans about their relationship status.
