Brooklyn Beckham cruelly trolled over latest cooking venture as he's told 'get a job at McDonalds'

Brooklyn Beckham has been playfully told to 'get a job at McDonalds' after his latest attempt at a cooking tutorial was mercilessly teased online.

The eldest son of Posh and Becks, Brooklyn has been found to be stirring up commentary with his culinary creations yet again. The aspiring Instagram chef, who previously said he "wishes the haters well" in response to critiques of his meals, shared another cooking guide with his followers this Monday.

His recent recipe has not digested well with critics though. Donning a white tank, gold jewellery, and a baseball cap from Inter Miami - his dad's football team - Brooklyn lit up the frame as he filmed himself preparing a burger without a bun, which TikTok calls the ‘Flying Dutchman’ and chips.

He used produce from Chosen Foods and his favourite avocado oil. "Today I'm making a Flying Dutchman with Chosen Foods," announced Brooklyn, skilfully chopping potatoes, slicing two onions of similar size, frying his chips in "100% avocado oil", and squishing his meat on a grill. He then drizzled additional avocado oil on his nicely sliced onions to assemble his Flying Dutchman.

Whereas several fans of the previously budding photographer had positive comments to say under Brooklyn's latest Instagram guide - one even calling him an "incredible chef" - others joined in the chorus of less positive feedback Brooklyn has no doubt become familiar with, since beginning his exciting new career path, reports the Mirror.

"It's burger and chips you melt ....this guy needs a hobby," scoffed one Instagram user in the comment section, while another shot back at the star: "You just made burger and chips [laughing face emoji]." One particularly harsh follower snapped: "Untalented child of beautiful parents," while yet another snarked: "What has life come to... I'm watching Brooklyn Beckham try to cook a burger."

Some decided to pull a joke about McDonalds as a result of Brooklyn's latest foray into flipping burgers. "He could get a job at McDonalds," one less than impressed viewer teased, while another jibed: "He couldn't hold down a job at mc D."

There were those who stood up for the scrutinised star, with one supporter among Brooklyn's fans defending him against trolls: "This is not funny at all leave him alone."

Earlier this year, Brooklyn divulged his wife of two years, Nicola Peltz, isn't exactly a star chef as he unveiled his very own pop-up UberEats restaurant and shared his love affair with cooking. Brooklyn first started sharing his culinary adventures on social media during the 2020 lockdown.

His simple recipes like a sausage sandwich and pasta with ready-made sauce have been met with playful ribbing. Brooklyn, though, remains unintimidated in pursuing his passion for cooking regardless of the relentless online mockery.

In a candid chat with The Times back in January, Brooklyn shared his culinary journey so far, saying: "Unfortunately, I've never done, like, a cooking class, but I'm obsessed with watching MasterClass [online classes with experts in their field].

"I've always loved that. I've been lucky enough to do videos and hang out with all these different types of chefs, learning different things, like [the renowned US baker] Nancy Silverton, who is one of my favourite chefs. She's a really cool person."
