The British Independent Film Awards 2022: The best dressed
Although the traditional awards season does not get into full swing until the new year – when we will see the BAFTAs, the SAG Awards and of course, the Oscars take place – the buzz has already begun with a slew of smaller ceremonies scheduled before Christmas, including the British Independent Film Awards, which took place in London last night, and drew in some big Hollywood names.
The ceremony celebrated the best, most innovative and creative independent filmmaking in the UK, awarding some of Britain's brightest stars with coveted accolades.
And of course, the event was not short of glamour. Below, we round up our favourite red-carpet looks from the night, featuring a very statement-making Florence Pugh, a chic minimalist Letitia Wright, and more than a few tuxedos.

Creating quite the spectacle on the red carpet was Florence Pugh, who swished around in a dramatic ensemble by Rodarte. The look was made up of a slinky, pink slip dress with beautiful lace detail, and she paired it with a voluminous, tiered, tulle cape, which she made a serious entrance with.
