The Brit Awards is an exciting time of year for musicians and music fans alike, as they gather around the TV (or perhaps they are lucky enough to attend) to see who has won some of the most prestigious awards in music.

This follows the 67th Annual Grammy Awards earlier this month, which saw American artists like Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX sweep the competition.

When are they on?

They will be broadcast live from the The O2 Arena on Saturday, March 1, 2025, between 8pm and 10pm on ITV1 or available live on ITVX.

Who is presenting?

This will mark Jack Whitehall’s fifth time presenting the prestigious music awards show, as the comedian has previously hosted in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Past shows saw an iconic moment between Whitehall and former One Direction member Harry Styles, where he asked the singer whether or not the woman sitting next to him was his date when it was in fact his sister.

In a media release by the Brit Awards Jack said: “They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with The BRIT Awards - it is my favourite night of the year, and I am delighted to be invited back to host in 2025.”

Damian Christian, managing director and president of promotions at Atlantic Records, as well as chair of the BRIT Committee for 2025 added: “I'm excited that we've been able to bring Jack back to host for a fifth time. Jack is a true professional who makes one of the toughest gigs on TV look effortless. His cutting wit will keep everyone on their toes, while his charm and humour will make the audience at home feel closer to the awards."

Sam Fender

Fender who last week released his new album, ‘People Watching’, is the latest artist to be announced to perform at the awards. Sam said: “Me and the band are so excited to perform at The BRIT Awards this year - we can’t wait to get up on that stage again!”

Lola Young

Lola Young’s song ‘Messy’, has been stuck in everyone’s head thanks to TikTok. It’s lyrics are extremely relatable and catapulted the singer to fame.

Lola said: “I am super excited and grateful to be performing at The BRIT Awards this year. It’s a dream come true and an absolute honour to share this moment alongside so many incredible artists. To be nominated is a huge achievement for me and I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve received.”

To think I was sitting at home watching it last year, and now I’m performing the very next year... it’s just insane. Grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to step onto that stage."

Sabrina Carpenter

Not only will the ‘Espresso’ singer be performing during the event but has also won the prestigious Global Success award at this year’s event, previously only presented to One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Adele and Sam Smith.

Damian Christian, Chair of the BRIT Committee for 2025, said: "Congratulations to Sabrina on winning this prestigious award. Everyone involved in the show is looking forward to her performance, which promises to be one of the highlights of the night."

Teddy Swims

The singer who hails from Atlanta, Georgia, is nominated for the ‘International song of the year’ with his incredibly catchy song ‘Lose Control’. The song has been echoing around radio stations since its release, thanks to Teddy’s soulful voice and emotive lyrics. He said: “I’m so excited to be performing at the BRITs! What an honour, I love you so much!”

The Last Dinner Party

The Last Dinner Party were last year’s BRITs Rising Star winners, after soaring to fame with their debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy.
