Brie Larson says move over bob trend with dramatic new pixie cut
It might seem like every celebrity has debuted a sharp new bob this year, but Brie Larson has said 'move over' to the biggest 2024 hair trend in favour of a striking pixie cut.
The Oscar-winning actor showed off her dramatic hair transformation in a black and white Instagram post with a caption reading, "Elektra is here", in reference to her upcoming West End performance as the Greek mythological character.
Brie, who usually wears her hair long and sandy blonde, has shaken things up with a dark brown, super short crop that beautifully accentuates her bone structure.
It really suits her, with her 6.9 million followers rushing to share compliments in the comments (note: we also love her chic off-the-shoulder jumper).
Brie's textured pixie marks quite the change for the star, though she's used to undergoing makeovers for roles after famously rocking a pink mohawk for Captain Marvel.
Her bold new look comes courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Cervando Maldonado, who cleverly added wispy 'baby bangs' to frame her face and add softness, before colourist Jacob Schwartz worked his magic too.
