Bridgerton's Regé-Jean Page joins cast of The Sandman on Audible
Bridgerton's Regé-Jean Page, The Crown's Emma Corrin and David Tennant have joined the cast for The Sandman: Act II on Audible.
The audio drama series, based on the best-selling graphic novel series by Neil Gaiman and published by DC, will be an adaptation of Volumes Four (Seasons of Mist) and Five (A Game of You) for the follow-up.
Page shared the news on Instagram, and added the caption: "A literal dream come true. And in my wildest, I never dared imagine being in THE SANDMAN, playing one of my favourite characters, amongst as ridiculously powerful a cast as we have here… and yet! Here it is, and here we are. To sleep, perchance to Fiddler’s Green… I genuinely cannot wait to listen along with everyone."
The first series, adapted from Gaiman's comic co-written with Terry Pratchett, became Audible's best-selling original title in its history.
James McAvoy will be returning as Morpheus for the sequel, Kat Dennings back as Death, Michael Sheen as Lucifer and Andy Serkis as Matthew the Raven. Gaiman will be back to provide the narration.
The audio series will be released on September 22, and fans can also anticipate the upcoming Netflix live action adaptation.
