"I had to do livid acting in this scene but IRL I was full of birthday delight," she wrote.

Then came the birthday video, featuring whooping, cheering and general delight.

"If you would like Happy Birthday sung to you multiple times on your bday, may I suggest working with a bunch of actors because they absolutely love it," she captioned the video.

Ben Miller, who plays Lord Featherington, is seen filming proceedings, Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton) trills away, and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet) joins the celebration after the song's over, being told, "Thanks for joining us Ruth!"

Looks like it was a hoot!

Nicola has admitted previously that being part of Bridgerton is a delight. She told Variety: "We all really hope [that Bridgerton will be renewed]. It’s a real joy to make and the response has been beyond our wildest dreams. But until the Netflix gods come down and bless us, we don’t know."
