Bridgerton star lands next lead movie role in new rom-com
Phoebe Dynevor shot to fame following her portrayal of Daphne in Netflix's hit romance drama Bridgerton and it seems she may soon be starring in another steamy role.
The British actress has reportedly signed up for a big screen rom-com called The Threesome.
She'll star alongside The Perks of Being a Wallflower actor Logan Lerman in the upcoming film, according to Deadline.
The Threesome will follow the story of a young man's life in the aftermath of an impulsive decision.
When his crush leads him into an unexpected threesome, he believes his ultimate fantasy has finally come true. However, after the experience, all three are left with sobering real-world consequences, forcing them to take responsibility for their actions.
Will the three individuals end up having to compromise the lives they've always envisioned?
The character-driven comedy is described as being of a similar style to 2007’s laugh-out-loud movie Knocked Up, which famously starred Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl, Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd.
Chad Hartigan is set to direct the new movie with Ethan Ogilby penning the script.
This won’t be Dynevor's first feature film outing as she made her movie debut last year in Sky Cinema's The Colour Room.
Prior to this, she had regular TV roles in Dickensian, Prisoners Wives, Waterloo Road and most famously Netflix's Bridgerton.
Meanwhile, Lerman is set to hit the silver screen later this year starring alongside Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the new action-comedy film Bullet Train.
The American actor is also well known for having played the titular role in the Percy Jackson films.
Lerman's TV career has seen the star share the screen with Academy Award-winning actor Al Pacino in Amazon Prime Video series Hunters.
