Bridgerton star Harriet Cains has landed her next lead movie role.
The actor, who plays Philippa Featherington in the hit Netflix series, is set to star in upcoming horror flick Video Killed The Radio Star, according to Deadline.
The film, which began filming in London earlier this month, also stars Jojo Rabbit actor Luke Brandon Field.
"The film follows a pirate radio DJ (Field) who accidentally unleashes a demonic force during his broadcast, turning the station into a battleground for humanity," reads the official logline for the film.
"As the supernatural threat spreads through the airwaves, the DJ and his assistant (Cains) must confront the horrors they've unleashed."
Video Killed The Radio Star will explore how the rising popularity of 1980s music videos posed a threat to traditional radio broadcasts. The story will primarily take place in 1979, the same year The Buggles released their classic song.
The film is directed by Brad Watson from a script by Ben Charles Edwards and Kirsty Bell, co-founders of recently launched production company Dreamtown. Phil McKenzie and Michelle Arnusch are on board to executive produce.

Bell added: "Dreamtown has set out to deliver precisely what the market desires by offering unique and captivating angles in our storytelling. We couldn't be more excited."
Following cameo appearances in Doctors and Hollyoaks Later, Cains landed film roles in The Love Interest, Sweet Maddie Stone and Mercury. She has also appeared in episodes of Vera, Line of Duty and Marcella.
Cains returned to Bridgerton for its anticipated third season earlier this year, which has continued to climb the chart of Netflix's most-watched series of all time.
Video Killed The Radio Star doesn't have a release date yet. Bridgerton seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
