It seems that as a society we have accepted Bridgerton into our homes more than we first thought possible with a show, as new data reveals that searches for embroidery have increased by 86% since the show began.

So, thousands of us took to the the internet in search of tools for our new hobby - with Hobbycraft reporting sales of stitching accessories and kits have increased by 30% and 20%.

In fact, ‘embroidery’ was the most searched for term on the site from 28 December - the week following the first episode airing - as we all began to fancy ourselves as the latest addition to the Bridgerton clan.
