Bride ‘Gutted’ Over Wardrobe Malfunction Visible in Wedding Photos: 'I'm So Disappointed Nobody Told Me'
The "extremely sad" bride wrote on Reddit that she feels "betrayed by the whole thing"
A newly married woman said she gets "extremely sad" every time she looks at her wedding photos.
In a post on Reddit's "Wedding" forum, the recent bride expressed her disappointment over her wedding pictures. She just received the photographs, and was "gutted" to discover that her bra was "quite obviously" visible in almost every single one.
"I can't look at my photos without getting upset," she wrote.
The issue began when the wedding dress was ordered in an incorrect size.
"My wedding dress was ordered three sizes bigger than my usual size and I was assured that this was completely normal," the woman recalled. "When it arrived, I was swimming in it, and I hadn't lost any weight. I have big boobs, but the top was literally not even touching my body. Again, I was assured by the bridal store that this was standard before alterations."
Even after alterations, however, the dress still wasn't right. But because the bride was relieved that the fabric was finally "actually touching" her skin, she "didn't analyze" every dress detail as closely as she should have. So it wasn't until her big day that she realized something was wrong.
"I put my dress on, I looked down, noticed a slight gape, and could clearly see my bra," the woman wrote. "I asked every member of my bridal party if they could see it and they said no, so I trusted them and went with it. We had an incredible day."
Sadly, her friends weren't being truthful. The bra is visible in "any photo that wasn't straight on."
"My wedding photos have come back and it's the same. I actually hate how my dress looks," the poster wrote. "I feel gutted. I hate that I spent so much money on an ill-fitting dress and I'm so disappointed that nobody told me and I had to find out through photos."

"I feel so embarrassed about it and feel that it has put a really negative spin on an otherwise amazing day," she continued, adding in the comments section, "I think my feelings mostly come from the fact that no one told me that I was swanning around with my bra on show. I feel weirdly betrayed by the whole thing."
Reddit users were sympathetic toward the bride. They mostly blamed her photographer and seamstress for not fixing the wardrobe malfunction.

They had mixed reactions on how the wedding guests ignored the issue, with some commenters feeling that it was "awful" not to point out an "easily fixable" problem, and others arguing that guests likely didn't say anything because they didn't want the bride to feel self-conscious.
The Redditors also provided potential solutions, such as ordering digital retouches.
"The good news is you weren’t distracted and obsessing over your bra all day long," one person noted, pointing out a small silver lining. "Get the important photos fixed and try to focus on your fabulous day."
