Brad Pitt on why he wore a skirt on the ‘Bullet Train’ red carpet: 'Let’s mess it up'
Brad Pitt has been on the press circuit for his latest action movie Bullet Train, experimenting with a variety of vibrant looks and in particular, making headlines last month by sporting a skirt on the red carpet at the film's premiere in Berlin.
The 58-year-old actor has been making an impression on the global promotional tour for his latest action movie, which stars Pitt as a hitman who has to fight his way through a train filled with assassins who are separately all assigned to kill him.
Deadpool 2 and Atomic Blonde director David Leitch helms the high-octane movie which also stars Bad Bunny, Joey King, Sandra Bullock, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as dangerous assassins.
Pitt has been enjoying himself on the sartorial front with a number of laid-back looks on the red carpets, and took a moment to explain his linen skirt-look at the film’s premiere in Germany whilst on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Bullet Train on Monday evening.
“I don’t know! We’re all going to die, so let’s mess it up,” Pitt told Variety’s Marc Malkin.
Despite it being 2022, Pitt still made headlines for the standout skirt look, with the world apparently still not used to seeing man - particularly a heterosexual heartthrob like Pitt - in a garment traditionally associated with females.

The Troy star left the skirt at home for the US premiere however, instead opting for a loose-fitting laidback green suit in a canvas fabric.
He teamed the pear-green suit with a fine-knit polo top in teal, and a pair of vibrant canary yellow Adidas Gazelle trainers.
