Boozy Baileys slow cooker Lindt hot chocolate perfect for the Christmas season
The festive season is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start planning Christmas dinner menus. Whether that be stocking up on party food, bottles of bubbly, or plenty of chocolate, there’s still a few weeks to make sure you’re prepared.
To help you find some inspiration for a festive tipple, Bored of Lunch’s Nate Anthony shared his take on a classic hot chocolate. A warm cup of hot chocolate is the perfect drink to stay cosy during the Christmas season.
However, to spice up the traditional hot chocolate recipe, Nate pairs it with Baileys - a classic drink for this time of year - and indulgent Lindt chocolate to make a rich, comforting drink to warm the soul. Nate created his hot chocolate using a slow cooker, which he detailed in a recent TikTok video.

Nate said: “It’s the clash of two heavyweights and you need try it.”
If you want to make it alcohol free, you can swap out the Baileys for milk. Nate’s video has already been viewed over 99,700 times.
Mob previously wrote about the wide range of benefits slow cookers have, especially when cooking during the winter months. Slow cookers can be a good way to stretch your food budget by using cheaper cuts of meat.
The appliance can also help you save on your energy costs. Mob wrote: “Slow cookers use less energy than traditional ovens and stovetops, making them an eco-friendly option for cooking. Considering the current state of the melting ice caps – that’s a very good thing.”
So if you want to try your hand at recreating a slow cooker hot choccy, this is what you’ll need.
Slow cooker Baileys & Lindt Hot Chocolate
