Boots recently released its Beauty Trends Report for 2023, and using data from 15 million active Boots Advantage Card holders, combined with in-house expertise and latest launches, it has forecasted what shoppers will be looking to buy this year.
It comes as no surprise that one trend on the rise is savvier shoppers, as customers want more bang for their buck and are more informed about skincare products than ever before.
According to Boots, shoppers are searching for the best value products, adopting hyper-personalised regimes and investing in multi-functional products, all without breaking the bank.
The retailer also revealed that the best-selling mass skincare brand at Boots last year was was its own range of affordable skincare, where prices start from just £1.50.
So popular in fact, it sold one product every three seconds.
As for the top searched-for ingredients, on top were wrinkle-smoothing retinol and hydrating hyaluronic acid.
