Bojangles Is Now Serving a First-Of-Its-Kind Southern Offering
Three words: fast food brunch.
Bojangles/Allrecipes
Bojangles’ menu is packed with Southern staples, from its country-style sausage gravy and pimento cheese to its famous sweet tea—so sweet, in fact, it can only be called "Legendary."
The North Carolina-based chain has long had every meal of the day covered, offering scratch-made buttermilk biscuits in the morning, crispy fried chicken for dinner, and hearty sides to fill in the gaps. But now, Bojangles is stepping into new territory—one that most fast food chains shy away from: brunch.
And if you’re talking Southern brunch, there’s one dish that’s non-negotiable. That’s right, chicken and waffles.
Bojangles Launches New Chicken and Bo-Berry Waffles
Bojangles has added the beloved dish to its menu but, in true Bo-Time fashion, it’s adding a signature twist with the addition of Bo-Berries.
While Bojangles has long been known for its loaded biscuits, this marks the chain’s first foray into waffles—a surprising move given how rarely waffles appear on fast food menus. In fact, aside from White Castle’s Belgian Waffle Sausage Slider, waffles are hard to come by at the drive-thru window.
Bojangles’ take on the dish features two Bo-Berry-infused waffles—golden brown with deep ridges and a crisp exterior—sandwiching a hot and crispy Cajun Filet. The entire thing is drizzled with a sweet Bo-Berry honey glaze, creating the ultimate sweet-and-savory Southern brunch bite.

But the best part? This isn’t just a weekend special. The Chicken and Bo-Berry Waffles are available seven days a week, all day long. Whether you’re craving a leisurely brunch or need a midweek pick-me-up, Bojangles brunch will be there at all hours.
“For many people, Sunday brunch has become a highlight of the weekend,” Tom Boland, Bojangles' chief marketing officer, shared in a press release. “Our Chicken and Bo-Berry Waffles are the ultimate indulgence, whether you’re enjoying brunch with company or treating yourself. We’re making sure guests never have to settle—because brunch should never be put on hold.”
Bojangles is kicking off the launch with a special promotion: From March 3 through 9, customers can get a free Chicken and Bo-Berry Waffle with any order of $20 or more using the promo code "BrunchEveryDay" at checkout. The offer is valid at participating restaurants and available through the Bojangles app, as well as DoorDash, Grubhub, and UberEats delivery services.
With this bold move into brunch, Bojangles is proving once again that it’s not afraid to break the fast food mold. And if this is just the beginning, we can’t wait to see what’s next. Shrimp and grits, we’ll have an eye out for you.
